Kea Kyle

Student Intern
Hi! I’m Kea, I’m from the East Bay, and I currently live in South SF/Daly City. I’m a first-generation community college student from Skyline College and an undergraduate student at San Francisco State University, studying molecular cell biology and a minor in feminist public health. Thanks to the CIRM COMPASS fellowship program, I can work in the lab to help characterize a precursor mural stem cell population in the human developing brain with techniques like immunohistochemistry and RNAscope. Outside of lab and school, I’m usually hanging out with friends around the city or online, collecting Pokémon cards, and merchandise of Chiikawa!
